Society crumbled, but its billionaires had an escape: the Arca, a vessel equipped with life's luxuries, maintained by teenagers forced to exchange their childhoods for the promise of wealth and freedom on their 18th birthdays.

The servants consider it a fair trade- except Effie, who suspects the bargain is a myth and the truth is a matter of life and death. To fight for survival she'll need to persuade her friends to abandon their dream of comfort...  but indoctrination runs deep, and Effie has only begun to scratch the surface of the lies board the Arca.
